A Double Bill featuring new works by The Contingency Plan and a commission from Tara Cheyenne Performance

January 11th-14th 2011
The Firehall Arts Centre @ 8pm
To purchase tickets please visit
The Firehall Box Office

The Contingency Plan, described as “one of the smallest but most innovative troupes in the city” by Janet Smith of the Georgia Straight, premieres Adhere. Adhere layers innovative movement, text written by Samantha Mehra and an atmospheric soundtrack composed by Gabriel Saloman to explore the countless ways we experience being alone and the struggle we face between belonging within ourselves and outside in the world.

The second half of the evening is brought to you by the imaginative genius of Tara Cheyenne Performance. In recognizing both a shared acronym and enthralled by Tara’s brilliance, The Contingency Plan is thrilled to premiere this new commission. Inspired by icons -the Virgin Mary, and Steve Martin – choreographer extraordinaire Tara Cheyenne Friedenberg and composer Marc Stewart fashion a comedic new piece for the three ladies of The Contingency Plan.

Performances by: Vanessa Goodman, Jane Osborne and Lina Fitzner
Lighting Design by: James Proudfoot

This Production is made possible with the generous support of The Firehall Arts Centre and The British Columbia Arts Council
